That would be the New New Twin Vee. I did not realize my misspelled post went out.
Eric you are right Preston gave me a helluva a deal but what was more important than the price was the way Preston treated me through the whole process. World class!
When I contacted Preston about what I thought was a serious problem with the boat last April. He quickly arranged to meet me at Sand Sprit park to check out the boat. Before he even got on the boat he acknowledged that the bow was riding low. After a quick ride Preston said something was wrong. He thought the problem was water in the hull specifically in the bow. We arranged for me to bring the boat up to the factory in Fort Pierce the following week.
He did not hesitate or double talk or slide step or any of the other things that occurred when my first Twin Vee had a water issue back in 2005 or there about. He immediately owned the problem and promised to make it right.
Preston called me about a week after I dropped the boat off and told me there was no water in the hull. He wanted to keep the boat another week and try to figure out what was wrong. The following week I meet with Preston at the factory. He was not sure what was wrong with the boat. He said he would build me a new hull and put my console and motors on the new hull. I did not ask him to build me a new boat. He offered to build me a new boat! He had a hull he could give me almost immediately but if I was willing to wait he would build the newest version of the 26 for me. The new version of the boat costs significantly more than what I paid for my new boat in 2015. He showed me the mold and described the changes that were being made to the current model.
I decided to wait for the new version of the boat. I sold my Suzuki 140's and bought a new pair of 150's for the new boat at a very attractive price from Twin Vee. The whole process took longer than we thought but I believe it was worth the wait.
I have only had the new boat out twice but I am very impressed with the looks, finish, layout, performance and the handling of the new boat.
Preston accommodated all my requests during the build process and after the boat was completed he made sure his guys addressed all of my requests about fine tuning the rigging and making sure I was fully satisfied with the new boat.
This could have turned into a really ugly event but instead it was a very positive experience. There was never any lawyer talk or screaming and yelling, threats etc. Preston never gave me a reason to act like the jerk I can be.

I have always had great experiences with Preston and obviously, Joseph Visconti (the new owner of Twinvee) thought the same and made Preston the President of the new Twinvee Powercat Company.
I'm glad it worked out for you and I watched it come together.
I saw your 31 at the factory one day. I am afraid I suffered boat envy. If my budget allowed I would be driving Twin Vee's new 31 but my budget does not so I will be fishing from the new new 26. Let me know when you put together a Bootle Bay trip in the spring I would love to cross with you. I am retiring this winter so my fishing schedule will become very flexible.
