Sailfow.com and fishweather.com...?

What happened to these sites? These are my two most reliable wind forecasting sites and they are no longer available ...Does anyone have any insight? just this week they stopped working...

I just noticed this today as well. Apparently sailflow has now become "weatherflow". It seems utterly bizarre that they would drop sailflow.com instead of keeping that up and having it redirect to their new site. Some weirdness going on. Sailflow was my go-to for shrimping wind forecasts and for Venice Beach fossil diving forecasts, so hopefully the functionality hasn't changed much.

Absolutely! The most accurate wind predictor. Really frustrating.

Yea, i use that one for a baseline but have noticed that it can be off pretty often, where as sailflow was usually a little more on the money windwise. Not sure why but winfinder looks like it's my only option now.

I'm disappointed as well. However, my Sailflow iPhone app still appears to be working.

I've also got an app called Fish Weather that is pretty good.

I've always used the old digital version, which is still intact. (Can't help it: I'm an old guy.) Same data, different format.

    Hope it stays up.

I did find a site similar called windalert...well see if it is as accurate as sailflow was http://www.windalert.com/map#28.091,-82.551,7,2,!26.6848:-82.8204

When I'm going offshore I look at all three of these:

    https://www.windfinder.com/forecast/egmont-channel-entrance
    http://www.baynews9.com/weather/marine.html

Exercise caution of course when venturing off pre-front as they can come in quicker than anticipated.

looks like sailflow.com is back up and running. Seems like none of the functionality has changed, so maybe they were just doing a server switch over and we both happened to check on it during that short down time and freaked out over it. Looks like it's up and running normally. Fishweather is still down, but they are both owned and run by "weatherflow", so maybe they're both undergoing maintenance? They're probably both using the exact same data and algorithms to make their forecasts since they're run by the same company. Kind of how 95% of all online booking sites are owned and run by just 2 companies. Seriously, look it up.

Thank God! Glad they are back up!
