After selling the original Hook N Up about 1 year ago (31 Contender) finally got the new Hook N Up (33 Sea Hunter) last week and decided it was time for its first fishing trip.

looked at the weather on Thursday and got the crew together of Jeff, Kurt and Mario.

We left the dock around 6:30am on Sat to make the run across. Came across 2-4ft seas in the steam and laid down to 1ft on the other side. Checked in with Davis at the office and it was off to deep drop and high speed troll.

hit a few spots that produced some nice yellow eyes, a few queens and a grouper.

Looked at the outgoing tide and was time to start high speed trolling. Put out 3 lines and worked our way up to WS. Got 1 Cuda in about 90 mins. The crew wanted to catch a few more snapper before we heading back home so it was off to deep dropping again. After the wind starting picking up, now it was time to run back home and came across a nice weed line that gave us schoolie phins on islanders.
Seas were a stacked 3-5ft in the stream w/ a North wind and the new ride rode them like a champ. Back home at the dock by 6pm and came home with a box of fish. Great first fishing trip on the boat and what better way to get the boat dialed in than running across with some good friends having a great time.
