Fished the Morgan River today, had a beautiful day with my gorgeous wife.
started fishing at the top of the full to 3/4 of the outgoing tide. First time fishing there, gorgeous spot, didn't appreciate the jet skis blowing by us, but guess we have to share.
water was quite clear and green and current moderate. Only luck we had was a bunch of under sized mangroves on live shrimp. Threw everything in my tackle box trying to catch something, top water jerk baits hard and soft, gulps, jigs. But the fish outsmarted me today. But if I had to do it again I would. Great weather, bugs weren't bad and spending time on the water with my wife PRICELESS.
