Sands resort aspect temporarily closing, better days ahead

Hello all, effective November 28, the resort aspect will be closing as the property transitions from a developer run resort to a home owner run resort. Any one with a reservation after November 28 will be refunded and given the oprion to book with the owners for the same dates. In the interem until April 1 the ammenties will be limited to dockage, fuel sales,ice sales, Infiniti pool and condo usage. Upon full transition, as a owner directed resort we pledge the following.
1. All guests will be emailed inward declaration and cruising forms ahead of arrival.
2.All units will be updated to include live TV, internet and updated units.
3.Fish cleaning stations will be changed over from fresh to salt water rinse.
4.We will establish more shade areas at the pool and on the beach areas.
5. Infiniti pool restaraunt will be completed.
6. All reservations will move to a online process.
7.A temporary tent wil be errected to accomadate boating groups and weddings.

Sounds good.....if it actually happens. Not having a reservation system in place before th transition date seems to be an indicator of poor planning. Can anyone explain the gap?

Also, not a fan of all reservations being on line. Prefer speaking to a well trained person who can answer questions. On-line only seems like a cheap solution with lower service levels to me.

Will the salt water hoses for the fish cleaning tables be plumbed from the water in the marina?

Although the water there looks 'clean', there is a fuel dock inside the marina along with a few tons of soap bubbles every afternoon when The Rock Boat Fishing Team is on da island! :hairraiser

Salt water will come from ocean. Cleaning fish at .10per gallon makes it tough! We will eventually have a call receptionist. The reason for the online is Batelco has just killled us! Days with the phones not working, days with internet down. By moving this online and stateside, this will alleviate that.

It is coming along. Reservations from u.s. and Canada 888-588-2464 or [email protected] By Feb 1 should have all units loaded up on the website with pics of each units. By April 15, all units will have flatscreen tv's and wifi.
