Ze? Huh? What's wrong with "it"?http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/09/29/university-michigan-professors-instructed-to-stick-to-preferred-pronouns.htmlThe University of Michigan yesterday unveiled a new webpage that allows students to choose their preferred pronouns, including “they” and “ze.”
Preferred pronouns will appear on class rosters, and if professors accidentally use the wrong pronoun, “you can acknowledge that you made a mistake and use the correct pronoun next time,” said the university’s provost and vice president for student life in a campus-wide email announcement. It also called using preferred pronouns “one of the most basic ways to show your respect for their identity and to cultivate an environment that respects all gender identities.”
A university spokesman tells Heat Street, “If there were a persistent pattern of ignoring a student’s preference, we would address that as a performance matter.”
I think you mean "BUGLY" (meaning Butt-Ugly) - as in what Trump said about Hillary: "That woman is a liar and bugly".
Agreed. There should be a cheat sheet for regular folks.
It's now NOT OK to refer to a female as a she, her, miss, etc, or a male as he, him, etc.
That's sexists I guess, because it must be gender neutral.
We now must refer to a person the way "That Person" wishes to be addressed.
Between this, the "Safe Zones" on campus and god knows whatever other lunacy is going on at some collages we are going to graduate a generation of thumb sucking, mentally underdeveloped and unprepared 20 somethings, completely unprepared into the real world.
I can understand these 18 year olds that think they know everything, having some wacky ideas, having never really dealt with the real world.
I don't understand the adult staff, no matter how liberal, giving credence to this nonsense.
