2PM EDT 4 October 2016 Update
Matthew continues as an all-time historic, very dangerous and deadly Atlantic hurricane.
After being somewhat disrupted by the speed bump of western Hispaniola, the last recon pass found pressures lowering again. Of note, after last night's long-anticipated Eyewall Replacement Cycle, the hurricane force windfield has greatly expanded. Hurricane-force winds now extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km) from the center. Tropical storm-force winds extend outward up to 185 miles (295 km).
Here are some more of the phenomenal stats on Matthew (h/t Philip Klotzbach)
Hurricane Matthew has been at Cat. 4-5 intensity for the longest streak during October for an Atlantic hurricane on record.
Matthew is 4th place for ACE (Accumulated Cyclone Energy) generated within the entire Caribbean (<=20°N, 90-60°W) - behind only Cuba (1932), Ivan (2004) & Mitch (1998)
New system may be forming off the NE South American coast.
A large area of disturbed weather associated with a tropical wave and two separate wave pouches is approaching the Lesser Antilles. This region has not yet caught the attention of models much at all, but right now the western Atlantic is in a very favorable phase for development, and the models have been slow to wake up. This feature bears extra close watching.
Based on the most recent scatterometer and visible satellite imagery, a surface low appears to be forming roughly around 10.5N 54W. Movement is to the west, or west-northwest. Another southerly tracker.
This feature is not yet Invest tagged, but soon may be, and the title will be updated if warranted.
I'm as ready as I can get. Gen set ready. Gas for a week, 80 gallons diesel for the trucks and tractor, chainsaws ready to go, 30 gallons chlorine on hand, pool full of water, all the cows fences in good shape, windows ready to board up, oil lanterns etc. hope it goes east!
So besides Matthew moving north below Cuba, there is a new tropical depression with strong possibility of cyclone formation north of the Caribbean moving west. Wondering what happens if they collide
I bought 2 bottles of Early Times today....winning..
I wish I had a dollar for every bottle of that I have emptied. That's good whiskey......a lot better than J.D.
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon... No matter how good you are, the bird is going to crap on the board and strut around like it won anyway. I AM NOT A RACIST

Couldn't find it at the 34th Publix so I bought the Bumble Bee version.
Still really good, much better than any of that other cat food.

48 hours.. trend west just over Grand Bahama.
72 hours landfall E. Central Florida (Melbourne?)
Then its starts getting weird:
Sunday morning offshore East coast of Georgia then moves southeast well offshore of Cape Canaveral by Monday
ANOTHER landfall after looping back, as a weak Tropical Storm/Depression over Jupiter, Oct 11.
Moves into the Gulf of Mexico west of Ft. Myers on Oct 12th

Nope. Gainesville.
Should work. Try it now. First one didn't. You can change the models and play with different ones. Hit the play button.
