Pardon my mess - learning to post pictures

Part time in Stuart but would like to post when we are fishing and have something to report. Have never tried to add a picture but if this works it seems really easy.

This picture is of the Marlin we caught during the Hemingway tournament in Cuba with the Stuart Sailfish Club. Quite a thrill for a crew of novice Marlin anglers.

The Stuart Sailfish Club did a great job of arranging an invitation for 50 club members to the tournament that was held in June. They also arranged for all the approvals and documents from both the Cuban and US agencies to be able to enter Cuba and fish the tournament. It was a nine day trip including four days of tournament fishing. The tournament usually has 25 boats participating but this year the club was represented by 50 boats and another there were another 50 entered due to the publicity generated. Sailfish Club boats took the first three places. The link for the club has a section for tournaments and the In The Bite video has information about the preparation. The Club also conducts a number of other tournaments during the year.
