Crystal River Reds 9/25

Ran out to the spoil banks this morning and fished the incoming tide. First time I've been there in years. The Reds weren't quite schooled up like I've read about on here lately, but we did catch 3 big slots. Biggest was dead on 27". Had another large slot hooked up, took me around to backside of boat where it got smashed out of nowhere by a big shark (6'+) Also caught a few snapper. The schools of Jack came and went all morning, always a fun fight...and are actually excellent smoked. Weather was beautiful and brought home cooler full of fish. Good times!

Sounds like you had a good day on the water. Always fun when you can get out there and catch 3 in the upper slot. Nice looking Red.
