Guess Hoos Back 9/24 (E$ + Rum and Gun gang score 80LB Hoo and FULL Box)

This year has been perhaps the toughest / worst of my life in some ways.
(March Appendix Ruptured 3/2016, Step Son passed 8/1/2016, admitted to hospital for 10 days day of funeral w Diverticulitis) Facing major surgery, but I digress!!

CNTDR is such a nice friend he invited me for Day Trip 9/24. ALL STAR CREW. !!
(CNTDR, E$, Deep Dropper, Jfunt, MD20/20.)
Took care of some paperwork and made a move. Tried hoos for 45 minutes w no love, so switched to DEEP DROP.
It was ON fire, we were bailing 6-8lb Yellow Eyes and decent Queens on every drop quickly limiting out!

Deep Dropper made the call to shift to new location. 50 miles from shore a cute blue Finch lands on E$'s hand and drinks water from my water bottle cap. Bird took off, came back like 20 minutes later and played w me again! I'm Bird man Daddy I drive in any weather! Next thing you know left long gets DRILLED (and I do mean drilled)
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Jiffy Jeff ran right over his head as soon as we put lines in!
Doc and Jordqn Tag team on cranking, E$ on the leader. Fish pops up alongside boat and my freaking JAW dropped.
Girth of a telephone pole and LONG and FAT! Lit up like a tiger fish came in HOT and HUGE!!!!
I lined up the perfect shot and Jordan did not hesitate sticking the BEAST. Haul him over the sides and an 80.1 wahoo on digital scale at sailfish is in the boat! Put em back out and catch a 25-30lb hoo.

With a full box we cranked up tunes and BLAZED back at 52 MPH. Jeff's new boat is incredible!
Thank you so much for getting the band back together and sharing one of the best fishing days of my life!!
Team Rum and Gun is signing off for now, keep ya posted and birds say SQUALK!
