I just don't get it. Never though he was any sort of good actor, never thought he was funny.

he's overrated imo, but some of his work, sleeper, take the money and run, and bananas for example, were entertaining
however there's no accounting for taste and he is certainly well liked by many movie fans and critics so he must be doing something right

Woody Allen can be funny for about 5 minutes. Problem is... his movies are about 90.
