feel good story for the day (somewhat sports related)

nice to hear a positive word about college football players:

Bo Paske was sitting by himself during lunch Tuesday before Florida State receiver Travis Rudolph asked if he could join him.

And for a day, Leah Paske did not have to worry about her son eating lunch by himself.

Rudolph was among several Seminoles who visited Montford Middle School to meet with students. But his time with Bo captured the attention of many after Leah’s Facebook post of the interaction went viral.

She was brought to tears after receiving the photo from someone at the school.

“I'm not sure what exactly made this incredibly kind man share a lunch table with my son, but I'm happy to say that it will not soon be forgotten,” she wrote. “This is one day I didn't have to worry if my sweet boy ate lunch alone, because he sat across from someone who is a hero in many eyes.....

Rudolph had two slices of pizza while Bo, who has Autism, snacked on his meal at a table in the lunch room.

“I asked if I could sit next to him, and he said 'sure, why not?'” Rudolph said after practice on Tuesday. “I just felt like we had a great conversation.

“He started off and was so open. He told me his name was Bo, and how much he loves Florida State, and he went from there.”

Rudolph, a junior who led the Seminoles in receiving last season, said one of Bo’s first questions was if he was an NFL player, to which he responded “not yet.”.
