I happened to catch the first half of preseason game #3. I was pleasantly surprised! Winston looked great and looks like we finally have a speedy slot guy/return guy. The defense looked good too, or better than last year!

BUT, it was the browns.....


Whats everyones prediction this season?

Mine: possible wildcard spot....

8 and 8. Maybe a game or 2 better if V Jax can stay healthy. Humphries is a good possession receiver. I think that punt return was a lucky break, but I like the fact he just took off straight uphill. Make them try to beat the speed.

I was at the game and as a Browns fan I wouldnt get too excited. Jaemis was really good in that game but he had zero pressure on him. Cleveland really sucks on the defensive side. I follow the Bucs pretty closely as well and my guess is 9-7. Maybe 10-6 if Carolina suffers a major setback. Saints and Falcons are toast this year.

I think they'll do better than last year, but still not play offs yet
The defense will excel now that the number one focus isn't take aways, we'll see better tackling
The pas rush is going to be MUCH better With the new defensive end additions
And of course Hargreaves is going to make the back field dangerous for opposing teams, could have a better career than Barber due to his ability to intercept the ball
Shame about sweezey , the o-line doesn't have enough depth, but the offense should be able to maintain so long as Winston doesn't have a sophomore slump

Edit: anyone have week three tickets they want to sell?

I think one of your weaker links may be Brent Grimes in the secondary. He will still make some plays but he's wearing down a little. Got toasted in Miami by bigger receivers last year and it has happened to him in preseason games this year. Hope he overcomes that though. I always like the small guy who can play much bigger.

He will be fine. Tampa is loaded with seafood and strip clubs so he can quickly get his fix and back off to focusing on football.......

he didn't turn into the turn over machine that i was afraid he would, but he isn't a careful with the ball as he should be nor as accurate as I'd like, but he is an improvement from what the Bucs have had

Neither was Brett Favre but his upside will make him a great NFL QB.

After last nights game...I'm still thinking 5, maybe 6 wins, but that's it.

last night was not a good indicator, many of the players on the field last night will be gone by Monday
the tackling was a concern though

but how about those kickers!!
