Sorry for the late report, been super busy these past 2 days. Anyway, I hit a new area because my plan to fish where I did last weekend was blowed up with the NE Wind. So after a quick adjustment, I found me a lee'ish bank and started wading down wind. Long cast with a Chrome blue back Skitterwalk produced a few strikes and about a half dozen fish. Water was pretty milky but the bait was still present.
Threw all but 2 back and all fish were caught on top. I did try swimming a DOA airhead on an 1/8oz ledbelly but no takers. That makes my last 2 trips where they were keying in on that topwater bite. Biggest was 23" and she swam away fine. Off the water at 0930.
Hope all is well every one
Tight lines and God Bless!

I don't worry much about the back color on a topwater...the fish is looking up at the belly. White and silver are "standards"...an orange belly can really shine in tannin stained water.
Many things to do.
Knots to be unraveled

Fishing beautiful Destin / Ft Walton Beach area!
