Gonna try the Grant area inshore for the first time, I usually fish further north, Titusville area. I'd appreciate any general locations and advice for trout, jacks, snook, reds, etc. thanks!

Take it for what it's worth...You are probably going to be better off fishing your home water than to travel here...the habitat is just as degraded here and you will not know the location of what few pieces of half way decent stuff is.
You probably would be better served going north towards Edgewater / NSB or go to the west coast.... they still have seagrass flats.
There are many roads to travel
Many things to do.
Knots to be unraveled
'fore the darkness falls on you

Went a couple of weeks ago and me and my buddy caught plenty of fish in that area. Hit a spoil island right across from the boat ramp for bait and caught 1/2 dozen trout and a mangrove snapper on mirrodines. Than hit some docks on the east side and bagged ladyfish,jacks,snapper,trout,3 snook, 21" redfish and 23" trout. While the grass flats are dismal at least the water was nice and clean
