Fish weren't biting but didn't stop us
Started trolling off of Boca early this morning. We started in 600 and trolled out to about a 1000'. The current was ripping north and we weren't making any headway heading SE so we decided to run south and reset the lines and head towards the inlet in a NW direction with the waves and wind. We found a nice piece of bamboo with nobody home. Then in 800' the short corner with the Rapala 30+ goes off and it's game on. Needless to say I was a little more than surprised that it stayed connected especially the way my son was horsing in in. I'm not sure she just wasn't chasing it for fun.
