Beretta 92

Considering adding the 92fs Inox compact to my collection. It appears to have everything I want in a weapon of this class and it is easily serviced and upgrade-able. Only available in 9mm
Would appreciate your opinion on this weapon.

I shot the blued version but was not over-awed. Much heavier and clunkier than a 9mm needs to be and is a couple rounds shorter in capacity than its contemporaries (Glock 17). Not a big fan.

Had one for years, performed flawlessly. Accurate and nice trigger in sa.

My big gripe was that front sight.

Needs to be able to accept a nightsight without some major league gunsmithing.

I believe recent models, at long last, allow easy replacement of the fs.

Complicated and heavy.

Glock 19 is simpler and lighter.

I have a 92fswb and it's a tack driver, I prefer a sig over them because of the external safety

I have had The Full Size 92FS in Blue since the Mid 80's It's always been Reliable & not finicky about ammo.

Oh my, I can't have a pistol that may tarnish my image. Please post an image of something comparable that is pleasing to your eyes.

Slightly heavier shooting platform then one would suspect. I liked the weapon.

Great gun but like others said if you plan to carry it is heavy and can't hold as many rounds as other similar size guns....ie the glock 19.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholdrr. I always thought the 92 was a great looking gun. After john mccane carried it in the first few Die Hard's

Before settling on the Sig 220ST, I shot the Inox 92fs and it didn't suit my eye or my hands.

If you've not already, shoot it to be sure.

I have the blued 92FS and as some have mentioned it is not ideal for concealed carry due to weight and size, but from reading your post, it is for your collection. As far as a shooter, due to it being double stack magazine, not a good gun for those with small hands. If that is not an issue, I will say it is probably the most reliable, smooth shooting, accurate semi-auto pistols I own.

I would check out a Sig 226/229. Amazing guns.

I have a blued full size 92FS. i haven't shot it much, but by sons are a lot more accurate with it than i am. I do love the look of the gun, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Whatever you choose, have fun with it.
