Yellowtail on Vero Reefs?

My buddy dove the 45 reef off Vero 2 weeks ago (for the first time) and they saw a bunch of yellowtail and were able to get a few. So yes, I know they are there. My question us, have any of you guys setup in that area and chummed keys style to catch them with any success? Or is it just a fluke that they happened to be there 2 weeks ago? I have seen people catch a random one here and there off the 90' reef out of Sebastian, but I don't think anyone specifically targets them like in the keys.

Thanks!

Chumming works in some areas & not so well in others. It often depends on the depth & the currents. Some places, you just need to drop the hooks down with bait & forget the chum.
