    So, I watched the video...and I am unsure of your concerns. Do you feel that the technique is *more* likely to put sediments into the lagoon....than heavy equipment? What data will be brought forth at this public hearing?

    As I have watched many environmental issues over many years...the fact that an EIS *is not required* makes me unsure of the issue.
    An EIS is required on so many projects that I am unsure why the USACE does not feel it warranted.
    There are many roads to travel
    Many things to do.
    Knots to be unraveled
    'fore the darkness falls on you

    Looks like another mess to me. Just spreading soil on top of wetlands. The soil needs to be removed. The surrounding area just gets built up higher, again changing nature.

    I seriously doubt that "the soil"...came from anywhere but right there...impoundments are generally not made with trucked in soil.
