The Florida Environmental Regulation Commission (ERC) is set to vote on new environmental standards that would allow heightened levels of toxins and carcinogens into state drinking water sources. The rule is being pushed by major industries.

After researching it, I really don't see it a s a negative right now.
Probably best to research than believe everything in the news that has already been changed to someones opinion rather than fact.
They are prepping for the ruination of our drinking water and aquifer by fracking.....INDUSTRY wrote these standards......
Nothing is black and white and there may be some good to the new rules. But do they out weigh the bad....open discussion. No other state uses the new Florida methods, which are enthusiastically embraced by polluting industries. That is not confidence inspiring.....

I think I'll start buying shrimp from China.
How do you link fracking and your drinking water? I’m no expert, but being from an area with a lot of fracking activity, I know enough about it to know there’s close to no risk of water contamination due to fracking. There’s always a chance of an accident, but allowing people to pump their own gas is FAR more dangerous to your water than fracking.
You can't trust all the scare articles you find on the internet.
please tell me you did not just watch them injection shrimp with silicone again

Where are you from? Do you understand Florida geology? And yes, fracking has contaminated drinking water.

It took nearly a decade, but former EPA scientist Dominic DiGiulio has proved that fracking has polluted groundwater in Wyoming

Well we can always ask one of the commissioners who is a moderator here about it.

When's Rick going to fill those two vacancies? Would be nice for local government and environmentalists to participate in this.

Why don't you apply? It would be interesting. The travel is on your nickel though.
