I like the taste of milk, but cant chug it. Dipping cookies in it from a small tumbler and drink the remainder(2-3 ounces) is about all I can handle.

Chugging it makes me gag as well as makes every inch of my head instantly congest up.

No buttermilk at all.

Don't soak too long as the acid in buttermilk will start breaking down the chicken. I leave the chicken 4-8 hours

I like to eat the **** nuts plain, but putting them in the vitamix with a little water or milk and blend, yumm, also adding some vanilla ice cream, good lord that is good.

Almond milk sucks. I absolutely love cashews but the milk is a no go for me.

The reason I brought it up, I have been starring at a half quart of buttermilk in the fridge that my wife bought for cooking. Last night I poured a small glass in honor of my old time southern family that drank it all the time. I drank it, but it is definitely an acquired taste. Don't think I'll drink it again anytime soon.

That is the exact meal and drink I saw my granddaddy consume many times as a child. Yikes!

It's because it is mostly water and sugar with about a handful of almonds per gallon.
