How does one clean A/C air handler coils??

So , I had a behind fridge leak where water flowed under air handler. Thought it was backed up but I take great care of that maintenance.

Took cover off air handler and saw dust and stuff. How do I clean that stuff off???

Youtube only has the unit taken apart to clean. How do I clean in place??

Well, hard to say with that description. If a evap coil is dirty you can wire brush it if it is impacted you need a pull and clean from a contractor. Let me know if I can help. In Ocala as well.

Not really that bad. Trying to maintain is so it does not get to the point having to remove and clean

If you're coils are dirty, you first need to question why your filters are not working or is it that old? First disconnect power. To clean in place you need to remove the blower and get to the top of coils. If you can get a mortar mixing tub under it to catch the sludge and water. Then use a hose to wash the coils from the top down without overdoing it. It's not easy, and it's only a bandaid if you are able to do it yourself. If it's older than 5 years, I would replace it and get a better filter system. Removing and cleaning coils is not cost effective in the long run.

I spray the coils down with the stuff sold at home cheapo. Works great
