i believe this is a Coopers, but i am still figuring out the difference between them & the red shoulders. he was very cooperative....... let me approach to very close for a portrait shot!

Cool pictures! We got some barred owls hanging out in the backyard at night. I wish I could spot on during the day. At night the caterwauling is so cool to hear. It's nice too, because I am not noticing as many rats at the bird feeder.
