Man the last 2 weeks have not been kind, I now have one kidney, had my heart cut in half to remove clots, same with the lungs, Legs are clotted up, abdomen clotted up, and many other fun adventures in medical procedures. luckily none went rouge and caused some sort of embolism I had swollen legs and ended up going to the hospital since they seem to get no better. I had no other symptoms, no chest pain, no shortness of breath, etc. At least the docs feel they got all the tumor, and scans look clean so hopefully that won't be an issue down the road. So if any of ya'll have edema of the feet legs etc I would get it checked out... This is the first medical issue I had since stitches as a kid once. Bad thing is not being able to do much for the next 6 months. I do feel grateful though...:crossed

Hang in there, you will be back out on the water before you know it. Will send some prayers your way for a speedy recovery.

That's.... ummmm...
Hard to look at.
My last 2 weeks aren't worth mentioning.
If I were you, I would focus on the next 2, and forget about the last 2.
Best of luck with that and ....talk nice to the surgeon.

I have seen people get harley tatoos, but a mercedes logo on your chest!:wink
You got at least twice as many staples as I had when the surgeon sliced me open to remove a cancerous section of my small intestine.
Now, almost a year later I have a very small hernia at the upper end of the cut.
My medical oncologist at FAU said not to worry about it, that is quite common, and since it doesn't bother me and if I am going to do any heavy lifting to get a truss belt to hold it in.
I'm just so happy to be alive, thanks to three brilliantly skilled docs who handled this via Lynn/Moffitt.
Afterward, bought them all a nice bottle of the best cognac Total Wine sells. One guy, the gastroenterologist, immediately took the bottle into his office as I sat in the exam room. Made me very happy that he showed such appreciation.

Seriously, take care and may you feel better soon.
Hope your bed is comfortable. My last hospital bed was a torture rack.
Remember that. For four days had to try to rest and sleep in a too-short bed with nothing but
cups of chipped ice to drink or eat.
But, made getting out much more enjoyable.
