Caught the first of the outgoing tide at Ortega/17 bridge today threw about a dozen casts both sides of the bridge and around the pylons no shrimp at all not even bait which is what I was after. Construction going on around the pylons there might have something to do with it not sure any input on this or is it still early for bait at the Ortega.

Took some grinding, but I got 4 dozen at the 17/Dr's Lake Bridge a few days ago. Mostly small with a few medium mixed in.

It took me an hour or so Monday, but caught a few dozen small along the drop off on the backside of the railroad bridge.
