Looking for new bass fishing spot on foot.

My last pond has a sign around it saying no fishing by the decree of the florida department of environmental protection. What does this mean. There is a lot of slime hydrilla and other stuff. This is not the best stuff but it holds fish. Any good spots in tampa sarasota manatee, St.petersburg, and Clearwater. How about areas to fish on foot near lake tarpon any ideas. Let me know what you think.

Not sure ? May mean not eating any fish from out of there ? I see a lot of people fishing around Anderson park on Tarpon. Guess it depends on what you are fishing for. Tons of retention ponds all through the areas you mentioned. Most hold fish.
