I liked them better when David Price was a Ray and beating the Sox to get to the World Series. But I used to enjoy the Braves when I was in Atlanta and the Braves played horribly. Maybe I can forget that the Rays were ever good and start enjoying the loveable losers.

Yesterdays game was a total embarrassment. Giving up 8 runs in the top of the ninth is something that isn't seen in all of MLB during an entire season. For the Rays to pull a stunt like that after winning a series with the Red Socks shows that they'll probably finish the season in the cellar of the A.L. East. Too bad but one or two premier players can't make up for all the "prospects" they seem to build their future on.

I used to joke with our son that the Rays got some great players for a while, then when they wanted a raise they moved on. Great ex Rays are all over the place. I am glad for Zobrist that his new team is doing well.

Just a guess - Kevin Cash will be gone before the trade deadline. Either that or the owners will need to take responsibility for this :Sinking ship. They won't.
