woodman669woodman669 Posts: 11 Greenhorn
ve the money for I am interested to know if we have any right to control who enters our supposely private canal system.
Our BOD is totally confused between the info. They receive from the county and the state.
Please any information would be appreciated.

Based on the limited responses I received was the question are We responsible for the maintance of our canal system.
The answer to that is yes. We are not part of any agreement or taxing district.
We are totally responsible for the maintance of our canals.
Does that help anyone who has knowledge on this issue.
We are an old subdivision platted in the early 80's before the issues were revelant.
Any help would be appreciated as we don't have much money to hire expensive expert help.
Thanks
Woodmanl

I would think one of the Big Questions is who pays for Canal maintence ?
SFWM or the Homeowners...Sometimes Private Canals really ain't so Private...Follow the Taxes.

These things require a lawyer if not an administrative judge to decide.

You can have the opinions of those who pretend to be that thing, which the moderator nor I have or you can find someone who has the credentials to stand in front of a judge as Charles can.
