None necessary...........it gave me a chance to clarify my post from last night .............that I'm sure A1 understood, but others may not have.

Just got home, still got things to do, not ignoring you Tom but day is fading.
I am glad to only be a bird hunter with bird dogs...being a shooter or dog handler or whatever other niche exists to separate appears to generate far too much about which to worry.

If I'm not mistaken it is Organized Fisherman of Florida.
Yes, we are a Florida commercial fishing industry trade group with our roots in the 1970's EC mackerel fishery.
I've been a member for some 30 years and a regional director for 20 years.
In our heyday we had some 3000+ members but now run around 4-500 with 90% of our focus on Florida based inshore fisheries i.e. stone/blue crab, spiny lobster, mullet, etc.
Kingfish and lobster pretty much encompasses our federal involvement these days.
OFF was asked by the state to formulate our blue, ston crab, and spiny lobster management plans, we did and the state adopted them.
We have a very good working relationship with FWC.

    Compensation? none/never, not even dinner.
I do get paid for derelict trap retrieval from OFF but that is a contract with the state of Fl for work.

    and yes unions still suk..:grin
