"It's gonna take a lot not to lose this" HAHAHA! Pretty calm and collected in video. I'd have been shouting like a short order cook with a kitchen on fire.
Next Question: Looks like hoo was hooked up pretty early. That fish on board you guys really stopped to play around with jacks? ;-) I"d have had the kayak on a **** plane!

Still pretty jealous (if you can't tell).
Don't worry I was definitely screaming orders at Ryan, but by the time I got the fish to the surface I know I didn't have a lot of time to waste messing around with this fish and had to stay calm and act fast to make everything go smoothly. Yes it was still really early which is why we kept fishing. We landed the wahoo by 7:30 am and still had 5 gogs to fish with and a guy who still wanted to fish. We dropped the fish off (it was impossible to continue with the wahoo on board) and headed back out to a fairly slow remaining day, catching that one amberjack.
Great Job and Amazing Luck, lol. That is a monster specimen Wahoo, whether from Kayak, Sportfisher or trawler!! A fish of a lifetime..
He's going to be spoiled from now on though, EVERYTHING will seem small.
Sincerely Karl
