boat tail grackles are really amusing birds to watch...unless you leave some food lying around in your boat while taking pictures elsewhere...
then they become a pita...good thing they don't drink beer...
also a very nice shot as well...
you got that subdued blue on their backs just right,,,,

Ansel called it developing instead of post processing....
I have come to like the term "developing" myself...
Zoner and Lr use it too for moving an image from a library to "develop"....
it's really what we are doing when taking a RAW image to a finished photo...

Hmmmmmmmmmm weird bokeh that is why I asked. Did you push the shadows slider to the right a fair amount?
