Have her pull the starter out of her car, go to get it tested and have her reinstall it since it was not the problem...:banghead

It's there so people don't accidentally start the car while it's in gear... or put in automatic starters.

Mac, I'm lucky in that I own two Porsches, a Mercedes CL63 AMG, and a 1965 Cobra 289 but my wife couldn't care less about cars and has no idea what I paid for them or their value. She drives an Audi A6 and it may as well be a ford crown Vic.
I imagine you had fun testing. I have an S Cabrio for weekends. They are a blast to drive.

I have found them to be rather amusing to drive as well...which came as a surprise...
my wife likes it and it is torquie enough where she doesn't have to keep rowing through the gears around town...
might have to change into 4th once in a while...
but it doesn't have the zing my that my steroid injected boxster s has....
