It was a simple fix, there is a clutch safety switch. We jumped it with a paper clip, no bueno. But there was another hidden higher that was next to impossible to get to... Not sure why 2 since no Cruise control...

It's there so people don't accidentally start the car while it's in gear... or put in automatic starters.
since I bought myself a Porsche, my wife has been at me to buy her a cooper s model....with the 6 speed manual....
so I have one at the house that I've been "testing" today....

Mac, I'm lucky in that I own two Porsches, a Mercedes CL63 AMG, and a 1965 Cobra 289 but my wife couldn't care less about cars and has no idea what I paid for them or their value. She drives an Audi A6 and it may as well be a ford crown Vic.

I have found them to be rather amusing to drive as well...which came as a surprise...
my wife likes it and it is torquie enough where she doesn't have to keep rowing through the gears around town...
might have to change into 4th once in a while...
but it doesn't have the zing my that my steroid injected boxster s has....
