Old guy goes berserker...QUIT POOPING ON MY GOLF COURSE!

amighoamigho Posts: 776 Officer
I live near the villages in Lady Lake ,Fl....largest retirement community in the universe. One of the residents recently had enough of our sand hill cranes pooping on "his" golf course! He (northern snowbird) chased down a mating pair and pursued the baby crane until it could run no longer then he squashed it with his golf cart! This was witnessed by several people that identified the man to local LEO and FWC personell. The two agencies are collaborating their cases and forwarding to States attorney, max penalty is $50k fine and 10 years imprisonment. Alcohol was a factor...I hope the State is very impartial!!!:machinegun

The guy needs a stiff fine, as they are considered a threatened species throughout our state. :nono

Don't get to worked up about it...

You can shoot 3 in a day in Texas....and have 9 in your possession. I guess they are kinda tasty :wink
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon... No matter how good you are, the bird is going to crap on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

I worked construction there a few years back. I heard a screaching tires and heard a wreck. When I walked to see it, it was 2 golf carts. The one that crashed into the back of the other had a large irish flag on it. The 2 old geezers were chest to chest yelling at each other. The golf course helper came out to break up the argument just before fists starting flying.

Oh, and I heard quite a few stories about old horny folks propositioning workers in the area. STDs are supposedly bad there too..

As for the bird killer; hit him with animal cruelty charges and make him do a bunch of community service hours
