Beautiful day, we made fishing tough 5/28/16

Gorgeous day, started off by me losing my balance while loading the LP1200, **** that thing is heavy and a few bruises to prove it.
Headed out a 8, had a very clear image of the gulfstream form Hilton's.
Finally found a decent weedline 12 miles SE of Coco Plum 1, fish would not eat anything we were trolling. Had large pinfish but could not get close enough to the bigger fish. Regrouped to set up to chunk. By then lot's of boat's, fish were only under 1 flock of birds. Got close enough to get the first and only Mahi. Casting errors and equipment failure shut us down. Boats around us did well.
My intent was to go to the east hump and get a large snowy, I had passed a number much closer where I got a big hit last week but no fish.
Decided to give it a go, took 3 drifts but got him.
