Got some work much closer to home. Can finally get rid of the little gas saver, or at least put it away until gas hit 4.50 a gallon again in 4 years. Kid is off to college and need to be able to haul, rather not put in the Audi and would be great for a while...
I suspect something Ford/Chevy maybe 2003 - 07 4wd and not too many miles... What motor/trans combination to avoid ? Not trolling to hear about every ones new dual-e, or your 85K 2017 special edition 6 wheel steering, dual ****, 4 gas tanks, and sleeper package... But you can tell us about it...If you wanna brag...

There are scads of good pickup trucks for sale. So many that prices are low.
Ford F150 has been the best selling VEHICLE in U.S. for nearly 40 years.
Try looking at TruckTrader, AutTrader & Craigslist
So you got ripped off when you sold your truck. That doesn't surprise me.
I'm pretty sure Mr Heatwave doesn't need a/c. Heck we didn't even have a/c in the house where I grew up and I've driven many vehicles with no a/c
he is a diesel mechanic, so he knows to fix something before it breaks
Fish Shallow saltwater, lakes central Fl. And Lake Oconee Ga.

tag's kneejerk conclusion "doesn't surprise me". Poor sap doesn't even know which model year.
Is this what you are suggesting?

I AM NOT A RACIST
Not a 40+ year old relic.
Yes Mindy a drz400 is a great little transporter, totally old school, bullet proof and just runs and runs, not a competition bike just transporter. It will always start and just run, oh all parts are way old school and easy to get and almost any repair person can fix it in a heartbeat.
Also park the **** in any bicycle rack on campus, no ticket or issue.
So what model year was it?
Benjamin Harrison 1833-1901
23rd President of the United States, 1889-1893
That thing is ugly. I bet he would get laughed at all the time.
Nah, really? I just threw it out there in case he would like to ride in style
Sure, big deal, I had one in college at UF. I came from a lower middle class family at the time, we had no money. I worked all the time in college, never took a student loan, worked a lot at a Chinese take out place, snobby and affluent did make fun of me, however I learned Chinese there and became a pretty **** good cook. But I got an engineering degree and married a beautiful girl that got a Phd in pharmaceutical chemistry.
Most of the affluent "cool" kids dropped out.
Not really jad, a lot of my friends consider me a little reckless, I love to surf really big waves, stole my parents boat at age 12 while they were on vacation, took it to the Abacos no gps just dr, single motor 24' hydrosport, avid scuba diver, also avid explorer especially on two wheels especially South America
Look I have learned children that are given a lot do not really work hard, especially when older. :wink
A drz is a good little cheap ride used, oh btw I had to buy mine without my parents permission. lol
My bad
Not everyone wants their kids riding a motorcycle around the city.
Way true, it takes a good skill set to ride one, but I grew up on a little yz80, parking kicks butt thou, just sayin.
Port Saint Lousy requires an A/C without a doubt... Thanks for all the replies... Want it to be a south Florida vehicle if possible. Traveling to far to see one is valuable time wasted...Lots of used vehicles, just never THAT TRUCK I want close to us.. Never see so many used vehicles available... Good times are a rolling and people are spending...
Not bad... I still hesitate buying anything with over 125k miles, never because of the motor miles, always because of the OTHER parts, and the list is huge, interior, headlights, tires, etc.... Most cars and trucks seem to endf up in the junk yard due to other issues, my guess is **** 80% of the time...
My 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee was great, got 220K miles out of it before selling it. Only real problem was the transducer / solenoid combination in the transmission. Replaced them 3 times over the course of 8 years. Always OEM replacement and ended up putting a drain plug in the pan it seem so common....
