Electrical issue. Could use some help

I have a MFD, stereo, 2 lights all to one termination block. Out of nowhere they all quit on me today. Everything else on boat works fine. If I jump the individual components over to my cranking battery, it will work. Now if I try to jump them over to either of my two trolling motor batteries, nothing; but my trolling motor still fired up. I put a volt meter to each of the terminations, and got zero reading. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The way this sounds to me is that this terminal block should be hot at all times and it is not. I would suggest checking for a broken/loose/corroded wire or a blown fuse from the block towards the cranking battery.

It sound like the trolling motor batteries are wired ONLY for the trolling motor. ( the pos. & neg. are only connected to the trolling motor)If this is correct then the grounds for the trolling motor and cranking battery are not connected together. The reason I say this is because when you "jump" from the block to the cranking battery the devices work and when you try jumping from the trolling motor battery it doesn't.

This is because the circuit where these components are wired share the ground with the cranking battery.

Since the Trolling motor is isolated there's no ground to complete the circuit. That is why it won't work on the trolling motor side.

Noah, you should have solid 12V at the bock, trace the wire from the block to the battery it is going to be served some where
