Jupiter 4-28

Out at 7:00am. Trolled from 100' to 450' with one Bonita. Turn around and back to 250' and a stretch 25 gets nailed. Big cow jumps and wife is on the rod for 20 mins of her sounding. Get it close and the hook straightens. Off right at the boat 😫. But there's the bull right behind the boat. It eats a ballyhoo I pitch it, then grabs the plug that's still in the water and takes off. Plug pulls out but I'm on for 25 mins of fun. Get him up to the boat and wife takes the rod so I can gaff. Blood goes everywhere and the six year old takes off to the bow because this fish bigger than him is going ape sh;t and might eat him. Went 34lbs on the scale.

And that didn't make the day. We trolled for another hour without another fish and ran into a rock pile in 30'. The six year old caught one keeper lane snapper after another and had a blast doing it. That made the day.
