Only one on this thread has been. And he has a reputation of not only figuratively stepping on his own foot but literally running it over as well. I was there. If he wants to poke me in the eye, he'll receive it back in kind. Its only fair.
Mike Dunn brought and displayed a firearm within my home as one of his "off-color" humorous "jokes". It was not funny. Neither are his racial remarks or Islamophobic bigotry, which are offensive not only to me but the black guests ( and a former moderator here who left objecting to it) or the two best fishermen on this site, who are Muslim and now rarely participate if at all. I cannot do much about those things other than cite the site's rules prohibiting that behavior which flies on the face of our direction to build a safe and friendly forum for the recreational fishing community and work towards that end.
But I can unwelcome those who troll this place with that hate speech and deny them my respect, home and business.
Its who I am. And I make no excuses for it.

No, I'm not *** kissing here, though it may seem that way. Gary is good people, but you certainly don't want to be on his bad side. At least not here anyway.
Gary is someone I consider a friend.
Someone I have gone to "war' with on many occasions to fight for "YOUR" fishing rights.
Those new to this forum have no idea of the past struggles and what Gary and others have done to try and help YOU.
It's really easy to bash someone who appears to be a (as quoted here) a pompous ***.
BUT until you have met, talked to and understand his commitment to Your fisheries and your rights you really have no idea.
Let me ask you guys this.................How many meetings have you gone to?
How many meeting have you stood up and talked at? How many "movers and shakers" will listen or return your calls?
