Got out there early and fished for phins until about 12:30pm.
The dolphin seemed to favor smaller skirts over a hoo, color did not seem to matter. One was on a naked hoo shotgun, the other on a green feather following a teaser chain, and all the rest on the small skirt over hoo. We trolled slow, let them swallow the hook, and didn't miss a single fish.
All fish were caught right on the edge.
Put 7 in the box and decided to pick up some AJs for dip.
Put my buddy's friend on his first AJ, grabbed 1 more, then headed in.
Weather was unbeatable and I was able to run in at 40+.
The cast iron pan is coming out tonight!

Yeah the bite was on fire til about noon. Good times!
I ran a 218 Sailfish for 5-6 years and the difference with this thing is ridiculous. I have had it for 2 years now.
Enjoy it!
