Maybe you would be scared that the Dems have shown how to make end runs around the law?

What are you talking about? It's not the majority of Americans, is the majority of the elected, that we ALL should be scared of.

I have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to the Dems, they aren't pushing legislation to circumvent a law that has been found constitutional.

Since Ratheon doesnt make bombs, retract this lie.

Many women are not exactly logical people, so it's easier to retract than to make them comprehend. Sort of like trying to argue with a Democrat.

Trump's statement was very simple. Women who have abortions should be subject to criminal punishment. Don't think anyone failed to "comprehend" it. Try again.

Yes we know, murder is against the law, abortion not so much.

Why is it so many people do not agree with you if abortion were to be found illegal? Even the pro lifers don't connect with you.

Out of all the outlandish things he has said wonder why he has now finally walked back a position. The guy never backs down and his Twitter is all but silent on the issue.

Wonder when he pulls an Oprah and runs to Megyn Kelly for the forgiveness interview.

Several years ago, a young man punched his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach at her request, killing the baby inside. The guy went to jail for fetal homicide. She didn't. That's completely wrong.

    That's wrong.

Looks to me that Trump puzzied out when he walked it back. Wonder why he is trying to be politically correct on this issue.

I already explained why. 53% of voters are women, and the concept of logic for most of them is not a strong suit. Sometimes it's just easier to agree that the moon is made of cheese

Keep reaching Grady. First you said women couldn't "comprehend" Trumps statement. Now you say they just don't possess the logical reasoning skills.

Trump's statement was very simple; if abortion was illegal should the women who have them be punished? He answered yes. What part of his statement don't you think women understand?

Reality check: Trump walked it back because he is a puzzy. Not because he thinks women have lessor reasoning skills like you claim.

Trump said "there has to be some form of punishment" for women who have abortions.

    Dump Trump

How convenient of you to leave out the (if it was illegal) part. The most important part of the question.

Logic and reason is what give you comprehension.

It's not surprising to me that you don't comprehend.

trump supports enforcing laws .. unfortunately he fell for the MSNBC trick question. if there is a law stating that the moon is made of cheese then in my mind that law should be enforced. but now we pick and choose which laws to enforce and which morals to embrace.

Going to be a hoot watching the GOP defend 24 Senate seats with Trump's position.

If the position is enforcing the law, it's a winning issue. Hypothetical gotchas are for stupid people.

Actually, the GOP position is to overturn the law of the land, then determine what punishment should apply to women.

Like I said, 24 open Senate races are going to be a joy to watch.

There was a time when abortion was illegal. How were the women treated back then? Simple answer, lets look at previous precedent. Lets keep the Rule of Law one of the supports for our social structure.

"How convenient of" Right to Lifers "to leave out... The most important part" of Roe v. Wade.

"the question" came down to women's Right to Privacy.

Whether abortion is legal or illegal the government doesn't have the right to snoop into women's reproductive systems, or dictate how these organs are used.

I think that's a excellent idea that I hope the GOP runs with.

A flip of five seats is all that’s needed to put the Senate into the hands of the Democrats.

Not true, Trump clearly stated the their would be no punishment for men who were party to an abortion.

Oh gawd, is PC the new catch phrase excuse now?

As for the couple I doubt that was a Federal case, sounds like an issue you should take up with the people who write the laws.

Your example is also a straw man as abortion is legal and the procedure is protected. You describe a malicious crime with intent to do harm that is not medically protected. Was it a jury trial? if so then justice had a say, the fact you disapprove is just an opinion.

This ought to be good, party to what? Men don't get abortions as they don't get pregnant. There's laws against consensual reproductive interaction, give them authority to force women to bear children against their will at the behest of the presumed **** doner then you may claim some liability. They get no say, they should not pay. Its about that 'fairness' thing progressive liberals like to tout.

and those who violate the hypothetical law should be punished, correct? That's all that trump said. It was stupid question by a lazy reported that has been taken out of context.
When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.

No, it wasn't. It is a perfect example of how easy it is to "box in" republicans when they are called out to explain their position on issues that matter to Americans. Republicans are on the wrong side of mainstream America on almost every major, national issue.

You can run, but you can't hide.

Not unless the law is written to punish either party. Abortion is a procedure not a person. He went further in the punishment aspect of such a law. Crossing the boarder is a criminal offense, being here undocumented is a civil offense.

It wasn't taken out of context. He knew what he was asked and he gave his answer and we all heard it.

Rather odd you take his first position but go silent on his walk back. Duped again? If he can't take on Chris Matthews what will Putin do to him?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what rights, if any does a man have regarding abortion?
