super delegates are shifting

WASHINGTON -- Democratic Rep. Collin Peterson told the Fargo newspaper's editorial board that if he went to Philadelphia to the Democratic National Convention this summer he would cast a vote for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

This isn't likely because the two see eye to eye on that much -- Peterson consistently votes with Republicans in the House on budget agreements, environmental protection legislation and against Obamacare.

Peterson is usually ranked around the 200th most liberal Democrat in the caucus by the National Journal. Sanders is a Democratic Socialist and votes with his party about 69 percent of the time.

But Peterson says he would support Sanders since he won the caucuses earlier this month in the Seventh Congressional District. He says he would "vote his district."
