Miamimuttonman Report 3/26/16 tavernier muttons and blacks

I was out of tavernier with another great customer, on this third trip, I took out his son, grandson and grand daughter and of course Capt Jake, which drove the new SVZ34 smoothly throughout the trip. We got to a yellowtail spot and had decent current, our plan was to put the young ones on some yellowtail for a while, catch speedos and leave enough time to go hit the deep mutton spots. It all worked out as planned, except the tails in 72 feet, where not as big as they normally are and we caught a dozen and a dozen speedos and took off to the deep. We get to a spot and anchor up and my customers surprised me, in deciding to let the young girl and boy go first to hit, the bottom fish. I didn't say anything, but i was thinking to myself, how can i get thiese kids, to reel up some fish, that are hard for grown men to reel. But i had to make it work, I new the fish down there were big, bc i had fished this spot before,so i gave the girl a belt and the boy another and gave them instructions on what to do.
Richard reeled up a mutton and got stuck on the bottom a few times and gave up the rod, to his dad, while the young girl was following directions perfect, as most women do, (not having their own fishing habits set) This girl started off loosing a couple of nice fish bc of not reeling fast enough at first, the third got tangled on a fishing line on the bottom and i pulled it off and she reeled a nice dog snapper to the surface, but this was just a warm up, as she then got on a roll and out fished, her dad and brother, she caught 4 muttons and 4 black groupers out of five released and the dog snapper, followed only by Capt Jake which was up after her father hooked a reef donkey and took a rest. Capt Jake pulled up another three muttons and richard pulled in a king fish, that hit the flat line as i just put the bait, in the water. We ran out of time and left these fish biting good for next time. 1834B423-4AAE-451F-986D-DF6758D06E30_zpsxnbzhw6i.png138EDE0B-D24D-4159-8F85-C54A3C967294_zpsso23v6jn.jpg8379DC26-9E49-4BFE-BE7F-92779B7D3A72_zpso43vt7ll.jpgB985D485-CA8D-460C-988C-7173846CB6F4_zpssgkdtwx2.jpgA2809485-DF05-4419-91F6-D8FD536263D2_zpsljblhod2.pngCDFE0F94-5B5F-4B02-A3FA-B9286277FBA7_zpsjggougns.pngF05E5BF7-7E51-4A34-98A9-D0B3E60F70CD_zpspl8crabv.png I took a few videos of the action can be seen at tight lines to all and Happy easter
