SI Inshore 3/26 - found some fishable water

Hadn't planned on fishing. When I woke up to such a beautiful morning with no wind, I figured a late start was better than not going. I rounded up my tackle, loaded the boat, and launched at Christenson's Landing at the crack of 8:00 am. After a short boat ride to the spot, I used my trolling motor to quietly slide into position. I could see big V wakes pushing the shoreline and knew it was on. First cast falls 18 inches short of the mark. Cast #2 lands in perfect position, the water erupts, and its game on! After a spirited battle, I slid the net under this 36" beauty. Ended up going 2 for 6 on snook with two break offs and two pulled hooks, cost of doing business fishing big fish in structure. Also landed one nice jack crevalle. Bite was done by 9:00 am.
