PSA: Free NIK software - March 24th

I thought I would share. Too good of a deal to pass up.

Google, who purchased NIK is giving away the NIK software suite. It is at least for today. It is unclear how long the window will be open, how many days you can download for free - so do not wait if thinking about it.

If you are a Topaz Labs software user, this is similar yet different.

I just downloaded and installed. It was surprisingly painless.

I just tested for about 20 minutes and it all installed correctly and seems to function smoothly and properly.

Works with Photoshop and Lightroom.

I paid good money for Silver Effects pro and Veviza.
I jumped on the download and will sort out the issues, if any, later.

    Thank you so much, :)

Craig, thanks again. I did a quick edit, and I think this will be a fun addition to my limited arsenal of editing software.

    Suz,
    nice demo...

I must say that your subject has taken one hell of a beating...
there is 8K worth of damage to the sails alone and the standing rigging appears to need replacing....
    none of it cheap...

I found her behind a spoil island last September Tim. We had a helluva storm the night before, and it appeared she had broken loose from her mooring. I saw her for a week, and then shot images of her. It was eerie. She had not moved, and everything on decked remained in the same spot, undisturbed. The scooter, the bmx bike..... Not a common thing for this area, as unfortunately, we do have "shore pirates", those that will strip a boat of any and everything if given half a chance. It is March and as the storms dictated her direction, she sits on a sunken island, her keel anchoring her. I was afraid, and would not be surprised, to hear that someone is below........ That's why I didn't take a lot of pictures; out of respect, ya know?
