Got a friend visiting in early April from NY. While here I will take him to Patrick AFB to visit with a friend of his. Thinking maybe I can do a couple of hours surf fishing somewhere. Never been to that area before, so any advice/help is appreciated.

Surf fishing is your best bet since the fish kill has mostly been contained to the river. Theres be large schools of pogies off PAFB and some tarpon rolling through. sharks have also been plentiful. I suggest parking at south beach and taking a short walk north away from surfers and beach goers. there are alot of rocks so be prepared to lose some rigs.

Wow, looks really bad there. Thanks for the advice. Maybe I will just jump on a party boat for a few hours, or maybe just stay in bed at the hotel in Orlando and let him and his wife take my car. :driver:
