Spring flowers

These were taken at the **** Museum and Gardens in Jacksonville. If you are even in Jax and have a few hours to kill it is worth a stop. I am surprised at the quality of artwork they have for a redneck town like Jax.

I left my ultra wide lens at home unfortunately, I needed it to better capture the space.

Not sure what these are but they grow wild around here.

My favorite delicate flower, my bride of 28 years.

    Very pretty...number 2 is a nice one.

I just got back from Atlanta and the Dogwoods were in full bloom along with other trees. Of course I didn't bring my cameras due to time restriction. Coming back yesterday though there were lots of wild flowers coming out.

    Chuck,
#1 looks like it might be wisteria....
it's in full bloom here and it really smells good...

    #2 does it for me...

I have been using a 50mm macro to shoot flowers, it's a sigma f2.8 and is a great lens...
sigma quit making them for some reason so you'll have to buy used, but you'll love the lens and what it can do...

Most of those were taken with a Tamron 60mm macro. I also have a Tamron 90 that I forget about.

Lovely, all. Your bride looks as though she had a great day. I love the foxglove.....

Capybara's are vicious and should not be let alone with small children. In-laws are another matter.............
