Local car meet

Not a bad looking SBC but I would prefer a flathead V-8.

Always thought this was an ugly body style but it's worth quite a bit of change at this point. Real deal 428 car.

Never really considered a Rambler but I have to say, I liked this one a lot.

That rambler is sweet. I had one of those except a station wagon. I bought it from my grandfather for $250, in 1977, I think. I ran the wheels off that thing. That straight 6 was strong.

The last car show I went to was in Daytona last year. Johnny had never been to a swap meet, and that opened the door for future visits. See, sometimes, I DO have a great idea! :) These are all nice Chuck. I need to start paying attention to shows around here. I love the rambler too.

This one got the 350 treatment so it should be fun to kick around in. It's actually for sale but I didn't ask what he wanted for it. Local guy though if you want me to track him down.

This weekend in Amelia they will be having (pending weather) a vintage grand prix if anyone is interested. We're going to ride up today to see what we can see as they are supposed to display some cars in the historic district.

    Chuck,
I would not miss the opportunity to see that race if I was as close as you are.
seeing all of those protype\gt's will be magnificent, and you may never have the chance again...
    go for it...

btw, that rambler has been here on the coast during cruzing the coast...

I may go to the race if the weather holds. I started a thread with shots from today in case you wanted to peek.
