I wouldn't wanna go for a whole month or anything, but buzzin the coast would be cool.

Capybara's are vicious and should not be let alone with small children. In-laws are another matter.............

    Chuck....
while that is a beautiful boat, not anything I'd like to sail...
    too many sails=too many crew...

it takes 6-7 of us to hustle my J-30 around the race course and be competitive...
and it just a fractional rig sloop...

I love sailing ships, especially those from the past...something special about them for sure.

this is an image of one of two wood built replicas of working schooners built by hand, operated and maintained by the city of Biloxi.
this one is the "glenn l. swetman"

I have sailed on both of them as crew and when the day was over I was beat...
everything is done by hand, no high tech lines, winches, etc.

I could enjoy a boat drink or two whilst sailing along under the effort of others on it pretty well. It's a bit beyond my Hobie 14 level of sailing skill.

    Chuck,
it's not so much about skill as it is harnessing the wind and having a good time....going no where in particular....
