Reaction Bite in Lake Tarpon

Over the last six weeks I have been targeting bass that have are transitioning in Lake Tarpon more successfully than the bedded fish. The Bedded fish seemed very skittish in the clear water of the canals but they are really aggressive in their transition areas.

I have had most luck with lipless crank baits and bladed jigs.

Looks like you've got them dialed in! I've found the same thing you described in my neighborhood lake, more fish are hitting in the jig/baby brush hog combo I'm throwing when I swim it deep then actually up on the beds themselves. I tried slow-rolling a white spinnerbait, but no takers on that combo right now...
