A nice project. I am not a Civil War guy but I know there are many here.
When you scroll down the page past a photo it changes from then to now. However take the slider and park it in the center of the slider field so you can see both of the photos, together. There is also a brief audio related to each photo.

We have a Currier and Ives print of "The battle of Cedar Creek from Au9, 1862. The print is cool enough, but the face of the painting has a hand written first person account of the battle written by a family member who was in the battle. Very neat personal Family treasure.
Could you scan it and post it?
